Heat Transfer Control System For The Chirnside Family

The Control Panel

Below is an image of the controller for your new heat transfer system. The relevant parts of the controller have been labeled by a white circle containing a number. Below the image is a key to these numbers giving the name of the item as it will be referred to in the rest of this manual.

The Lounge Thermostat

This should be set to the minimum temperature at which you wish heat to be removed from the lounge. i.e. If the air temperature is below the thermostat setting the system will not automatically circulate air from the lounge.

Setting the lounge thermostat to the "Off" position will not disable the entire system. In this position the system will simply think the lounge has never exceeded the temperature setting of the thermostat.

Setting the fan speed at the lounge thermostat will control the speed of fan 1 when running in automatic only.

The Ceiling Thermostat

This should be set to the minimum temperature at which you wish air to be circulated from the ceiling. i.e. If the ceiling temperature is below the thermostat setting the system will not automatically circulate air from the ceiling.
